Cell Phone Stolen: FIZZ

When my cell phone was stolen, FIZZ took 5 COMPLETE days before re-establishing the line with my number on my new cell phone. All this while telling me only "... we are working to solve the problem as soon as possible.". Not knowing how long to wait, I ended up getting a pre-paid phone for 1 month - which FIZZ never wanted to refund! So I changed company

Tremendous!!

Good morning! I live in the countryside and I pick up the signal very well! My plan only costs me $28+Tx with unlimited calls to Qc, unlimited texts & internet. In summary, I recommend FIZZ 100%, it's good and not expensive! Your unused internet data is added to your next month!!

"Using Fizz in USA: Luck?"

Used Fizz within Quebec with no problem but when travelling in the USA with their US plan it is a lottery as some state may offer the service while other are not (Florida doesn’t work) In addition I had almost no reply from their support service except answers like : We are taking care of you… Be patient… We are looking at the problem … They answered me 1 week after a came back in Canada H More

Cellular Service in USA: Frustrating!

Recently switched to Fizz cable internet and could not be happier.Fizz is the low-cost offering of Videotron and uses the same quality cable network.My previous internet provider whom i've been with for 10 years with flawless connection is a reseller of Videotron cable internet.I therefore knew i was getting a reliable internet connection with Fizz. But there were 3 other reasons i went with Fizz:1. Previous provider hiked their prices once more to the point of no longer being competitive. That's when i started shopping around. With Fizz, i doubled my speed to 30mbps, and i save $15/month. How about that!2. My home phone is voip and needed a provider with voip router support. While i was not able to conclusively find that Fizz router supports voip, Fizz allows you to use your own router by putting their router in bridge mode (effectively disabling it). That's what i did upon receiving Fizz modem/router combo. It's easy to do, Fizz provides instructions on their website.3. I work from home, and cannot afford long downtime periods. Should an issue arise and a technician required, Fizz will send a Videotron tech at your home next day or a day after. That's fast. Videotron and Fizz customers are prioritized over reseller customers. Had i stayed with previous reseller provider, i would have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for a Videotron technician to show up. Way too long.Delivery of modem/router combo was fast. Subscribed Saturday. Shipped Monday. Delivered Tuesday to my door by Planete Courrier.Fizz will not allow you to use your own modem, you have to use the one they provide you with. Mine is CODA-4680. There are a lot of complaints about the wifi capabilities of the built-in router. If you run into such issues, best solution is to use your own router like i did.There is no phone line support with Fizz. However Chat and Messenger are perfectly adequate. I contacted them many times to ask questions before subscribing, i chatted with 5-6 different agents, and they all pretty much answered within half hour.It must be said that if you prefer phone line support, or want the best wifi out-of-the-box, then go directly with Videotron.It is also worth mentioning that Fizz is a trustworthy provider. You won't be getting surprises on your monthly bill like other providers. I simply highly recommend Fizz.Should you decide to join Fizz, a referral code will give you $25 to $50 discount.You can use mine with confidence as i am with Fizz for the long run.
