Built around a 6.7 inch format, the iPhone 16 Plus combines Apple’s larger screen size with a relatively slim body in aluminum and colour infused glass. Its Super Retina XDR OLED display reaches 2796 x 1290 resolution at 460 ppi, with Dynamic Island, HDR support and peak outdoor brightness up to 2000 nits, which gives it strong visibility for video, photos and everyday use. The A18 chip handles the phone’s overall speed, while storage options start at 128GB and go up to 512GB. On the back, Apple uses a dual camera system with a 48MP Fusion main camera and a 12MP ultra wide camera, and the main sensor also enables a 2x telephoto option. Video features are a strong point, with 4K Dolby Vision recording up to 60 fps, Cinematic mode up to 4K and Action mode for steadier clips. Battery life is one of the model’s defining strengths, with Apple rating it for up to 27 hours of video playback. The phone also supports 5G, Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, USB C, MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging up to 25W, plus dual SIM support through nano SIM and eSIM in the Canadian configuration.
