Their customer service is horribly inaccessible and they blocked my service because I inadvertently missed one payment after being a customer for over a year.
I switched from Videotron to Fizz and after receiving my SIM card, it took only a few minutes to activate. The process is very smooth and I'd recommend it.

Totally satisfied with my moving to Fizz. I am surprised, how thoughtful is the rewards system on fizz website. It's been 3 months since I switched to fizz, and besides generally less expensive plans, the 'rewards', 'perks', 'add-ons' are really working perfectly, which means if I have some gigs or megabytes left from the previous month, it adds for next month, and if there is a 'reward' - there could easily be 500Mb 'perk' it could be added to my actual gigs in one click when on the website. It basically saves money. I don't use much internet, so I downgraded from 2 Gig plan to 1 Gig and it's enough (it was never enough with my previous provider) because there are that leftovers from the previous months, perks, and other stuff. Really enjoying these marketing tricks. I have an old Iphone 5 which sometimes lags on LTE with fizz /Don't know if it has to do with the Iphone or the network/, but it's easily resolved by changing the setting on the phone to 3G - the speed is lower, but I don't expect much from a 6-year old phone, and I don't think this problem will appear on newer models at all. I moved without losing my number, and with a lot of pleasure. It's just amazing, compared to continuous disappointments with the previous provider.
Also, fizz just sent me a special offer, if you use my referral code IO8LS on activation of cellphone plan or your home internet installation, this will save you CA$40 if used until 15 October and 25CA$ if used after 15 October, which also will save me the same amount. It sounds great!
