More about Virgin Plus
The history of Virgin Plus
On March 1st 2005, Virgin Mobile officially launched. It started off by offering prepaid plans. To stand out from its competitors, the company opted for bold commercials, featuring nurses or angels. Despite negative comments, it pursued this advertising technique for years. The result is self-evident: Virgin Mobile distinguished itself from other companies. In 2009, Bell Mobility acquired Virgin Mobile. Since then, users could benefit from its HSPA network. This was an opportunity to operate other services such as smartphone retailing. Since July 19, 2021, Virgin Mobile was renamed Virgin Plus, implying the expansion of the company and the efforts of supplementing today's Virgin Mobile plans.
A vast network coverage in all Canada
Since Virgin Plus is a subsidiary of Bell, it also benefits Bell network coverage. This coverage allows users to use high speed 4G internet in most areas of Canada.
